Think Geek

Our oldest son showed me this site and strongly hinted about Christmas presents he would like.

It has some really cool stuff. Here are just a few items:

8 bit tie
Love poem tee
Aluminum chainmail shirt

Heh. I love that site. The love poem is pretty darn awesome.

I also like the mini sock puppet monkeys, super-strong magnets, glowy faucet thingy...

Son2 wanted a "The Jedi Negotiation Tool Available In A Galaxy Near You" ... until he saw the PRICE! shocked.gif EGADS...

A few other things he noticed that were interesting ideas:

Swiss Memory USB

Cellphone Signal Extender (because we thought the disclaimer **None of the models work with Nextel.** was hilarious!!!)

Bluetooth Laser Virtual Keyboard

Mini Pet Cactus (for the Arizonan that has EVERYTHING... giggle.gif)

It's certainly a fun place to "window" shop...

>>>>>>>>>>>>>ETA:  I forgot to list the one I like the best:

ThinkGeek Bluetooth Retro Handset [We have taken the ever-popular retro Handset and updated it to connect to your cell phone using Bluetooth technology. That's right! No more tangled up phone cord. Now people will think you're really crazy talking into a old-time handset connected to... nothing. Oh, and speaking of nothing, there's nothing out there quite like this handset because this product is a ThinkGeek original design, only available here. How 'bout them blueberries?]

In the past I've gotten gifts for my old boss who was a technophile at that website. I'm waiting to make my next big purchase there... the robotic love-slave... Oh wait... that's a different thread.  :)

I'm surprised Janey hasn't commented on the frequency of packages arriving from that auspicious company.

What have I purchased from there?
the annoy-a-tron (works great, the hard part is maintaining a poker face)
the bluetooth retro handset(totally awsome, and a big hit at work as well)
the usb controlled rocket launcher(Keeps my cow-orkers in line)
a few various useful networking tools
the Air-Zooka (well before you could get it in stores, and great for tormenting cats)
the LED waterfaucet lite (the original one color version not the new heat sensitive two color version)
the version 2.0 T-shirt for our little boo.
the Binary clock for my brother
demotivator calanders for a couple different people
And if I had the money I could and would spend sooooooooo much money there.  I have a mile long wish list there.

I heart.gif Thinkgeek.
