I'm only superficially aware of these folks and what they do, but Ravi Zacharias is associated with them. Some of you may remember Ravi as the first evangelical to preach in the SL Tabernacle in 150 years. They're teaming up EVC's with BYU professors (including Dr. Millett, BYU president, and Dr. Truman Madsen), and talking about getting along.
In taking a look at the topics and the lineup, I figured people here would be interested.
Historic Review Of Evangelical Mormon Relations With Dr. Craig Hazen & Dr. Spencer Fluhman
Missional Principles and Guidelines for Interfaith Dialogue With Dr. Doug McConnell & Dr. Robert Millet
The Legitimacy of Mormon/Evangelical Dialogue, and Should We Even Be talking? With Dr. Truman Madsen & Dr William Heersink
Spiritual Formation and Interfaith Dialogue With Dr. Richard Bennett & Dr. Jerry Root
The Role of Grace & Works As It Relates To Doctrine & Tradition With Dr. Craig Blomberg & Dr. Camille Fronk
Man, I'd love to see things like this happen more often. I'd love to see more LDS and EVC folks thinking such things are useful and possible.
