"A University of Florida student with a history of taping his own practical jokes was Tasered by campus police and arrested after loudly and repeatedly trying to ask U.S. Sen. John Kerry questions during a campus forum."
Ok, so what should officials do when someone does what this kid did? He allegedly pushed to the front of the line and began angrily asking various questions. When he was asked to leave after his allotted time, he refused. They turned the mic off. He refused to leave. The policy attempted to forcibly remove him and he resisted.
I'm not advocating anything here. I'm seriously trying to determine when enough is enough. Why can't people be respectful even when disagreeing? From this article he refused to be respectful (and I'm not talking about his questions, just his manner). Were they supposed to allow him complete freedom in attitude and questions?

I have no sympathy for this guy. He was rude and should have respectfully departed when his time was up (at least, from what I have read about the incident).
