We bought Josh Groban's new Christmas CD today.

Wow!  What a showcase!

- In addition to singing in English and Italian, he now sings in French.
- There's a duet with Faith Hill.
- Andy McKee does guitar work for Little Drummer Boy. (In case you don't know who Andy McKee, check the YouTube below.)
- I'll Be Home for Christmas starts with audio messages home from troops deployed in Iraq.
- And the last track, O Come All Ye Faithful, is a performance with...are you ready for this...the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

You know, I'm beginning to think Josh might be right up there with Chuck Norris biggrin

Andy McKee is an independent artist.  The above clip is from 2006.  He only teamed up with Josh Groban for that one song on the Christmas album.

Here's Andy doing some amazing pulloffs and harmonics on a harp guitar.

Okay, that was cool.  Really cool.  I've been learning classical guitar, but I can never even aspire to something like that.  I don't have enough fast-twitch muscle fibers.  I'll count myself fortunate to do a Marty Robbins balad in a few years smile
