China has banned buddhist monks in Tibet from reincarnating without permission.

That would make a cool video for youtube:

State police guy in uniform approaches a cow and levels his AK-47 at the cow's head.  He pronounces, "Yuang na Wen, you are hereby sentenced to 15 years in a state penitentiary for illegally reincarnating!"

The cow moos defiantly, and 11 other state police rush up with riot shields and surround the animal. Lots of taser action and then the stunned cow is branded and dragged to a waiting cattle truck already filled to capacity.

I remember when our bard Willa Loveday was killed. She was an important part of our party, because she was supposed to crafting a Ballad for the party's Venturefest quest, and yet, had been blasted out of the sky by a Goblin Shaman who had a scroll of Flamestrike. It's tough on 2nd level adventurers... Well, they found a scroll of reincarnate, and cast it upon the charred remains of Willa and wouldn't you know it, she came back as a centauress. The problem was that she was HUGE! And so at one point, she wouldn't fit in the narrow staircase they had to ascend, and once they had to go down a well where there was a secret passage and again they had to lower her down... It was very inconvenient for everyone involved... though honestly, the double hoof extra attacks the whole party appreciated... especially when they went up against the Hydra, and Tarandor the Paladin lost a leg and would've died had they not found that ring that healed him when they put it on him and placed him and the ring in the sun... of course... they were a little dismayed to discover that if Tarandor spent too much time in the dark, his leg would get sore and eventually would fall off...

errmm... of course all of this delighted me, as DM... since I love to torture small animals, centaurs and Paladins who think they're holier than all the world...
