The Other Side of Heaven by Bro. Groberg, got it at Deseret Book a few months ago, for pretty cheap...

I know it's very popular, and they made a movie about it, but honestly, if you haven't read this book, I encourage you to do it. We've been reading parts of it aloud as a family on Sundays and it has held the children's attention pretty well too... it's a remarkably entertaining read... it's really unlike any other book I've read that preaches the Gospel and talks of a real life experience one after another...

I just thought it was the sort of uplifting thing I could share here...

My dad saw it on one of our movie channels early one morning several months ago and we watched it together. My mom joined me part way throught the movie. They are members of a different faith, and it was great for them to see this positive movie about such an amazing mission.

I've had it on my Amazon wishlist forever, but it's been out of print so I haven't gotten a copy. I'll have to check out Deseret Book now. Thanks Ray!

I hated that movie. I thought it made the Tongans look stupid.

Read the book. If anything, Pres. Groberg makes the wordly westerners look stupid. :)
