Four firemen are suing San Diego for forcing them to participate in a gay pride parade, at which they were apparently treated to "sexual harrassment". Apparently there were religious protestors there too...
No scandal there...

I don't get why firefighters were supposed to participate in the parade in the first place. If they really were forced to do it, then frankly I don't blame them.
Hoss: That's exactly the story I thought of... It's interesting to me that "celebrating gay pride" means being able to express oneself in public (because they're victims), while such hetero type behavior is generally viewed as being crass, neanderthalic, catcalls and sexual harrassment. I could foresee a legal defense against the four explaining that because they were "uncomfortable" with their treatment at the parade that they lack "sensitivity" training, and just didn't take the situation in "good" humor--because they're actually homophobes.

They are so gonna win this deal. Imagine if they were women firefighters. The media would be screaming, there would be calls for firings, sensativity training, etc. The women firefighters would be on Oprah crying about the treatment they recieved. The law goes both ways.
