Sicko by Michael Moore

CNN reviews the "facts" presented by Moore about American Healt Care...

http://www.cnn.com/2007/HEALTH/06/28/sicko.fact.check/index.html?eref=rss_topstories

I don't know that I trust CNN to do any deep checking... but anyone gonna go see this film?

What types of things should change in healthcare today for the future?

I wouldn't be able to dream of someday owning a Glenn Beck Evil Conservative Industries t-shirt saying Michael Moore is a Big Fat Slob if I stooped so low as to see one of his unbiased documentaries.

One of the local stations here just started broadcasting Glenn Beck. I think they did it instead of Michael Savage, which is a nice change, as I think Savage is a disgrace...

Detroit lost Glenn Beck a couple years ago... guess the station decided it wanted to go after a "progressive" format. (go figure, Michigan is only represented nationally by the big D entrenched names of Carl Levin, John Conyers, Debbie Stabenow and our poor excuse for a governor Jennifer Granholm... so you can't have someone on national radio badmouthing them -- which Glenn did a couple times in the past).

I stopped listening to talk radio as a result.

What ever happened to nice guys on talk radio like Paul Harvey...

You can always get NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered.  Heck, I even listen frequently to News and Notes (a liberal African American perspective on the news) because, well, they often have very insightful analysis from a perspective that doesn't naturally occur to me.
