House Speaker Pelosi Departs to Europe on Global Warming Mission

I am sorry, but lady, you were elected to Congress... not as Secretary of State or ambassador to the world to go and try and create a secondary, alternate foreign policy

I found this statement very telling... In seeking solutions, she said, "we need to shorten the distance between inconceivable and inevitable." In other words, we need to get people to stop thinking that global warming is a sham...

Makes sense to me. Pelosi's from California, so she thinks she can rule the whole country and thinks that everyone cares about what she does...

I think it's a sad commentary on the Democratic party that they elected Pelosi as speaker.

Believe it or not but Pelosi is extremely popular in San Frangayo. I think she ran unaposed in the last election cycle. Either that or her opponent had such a slim chance that it just seemed like she ran without challenge.

More evidence of her working on her / the liberal left's version of foreign policy, which is well outside her perview.  Hey, she is even trying to kill two birds with one stone here, flattering heads of state of countries that had conflicts of interest with Iraq / Hussein while she and her entourage got the full picture on global warming by going to Greenland...
