And John McCain begins to sing: "And They're coming to take me away Ha Ha They're coming to take me away ho ho he he ha ha to the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time, and I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're coming to take me away ha ha"
A McCain spokeswoman vehemently denied that the senator had used this highly-inflammatory phrase, suggesting the senator might have used the profanity in a gerund to request that the meeting just move forward.
Hahahahahahahaha...Oh, so he didn't really say it to him. He just said it in passing, you know...to move things along. What's the difference, really?
Every prominent politician will have a media persona, and little items will be seized upon to reinforce those items, whereas those items will be skipped over for other candidates. McCain's media persona is one of a feisty, short tempered old man who was a war hero. While it may be true in part, I doubt that defines him.
It will be incidents like this that will lose McCain the nomination over the coming year(s). I hate long campaigns.
Just like in Dr. Who, we see that the plastic men are not friendly servant android types, but have a dark inner self that reveals itself...
Hope McCain has a nice parachute, cuz with as much time as there is left in the campaign, this is gonna be but the first of many blunders in his true self being revealed.
You know, I think it would be wonderful if in all the mudslinging that is gonna happen if Romney is able to avoid casting any of it, aside from fact based stuff.

"wait a couple weeks"? Mmmm, while intended to inflict a wound in Romney, these kinds of attacks have a way of doing more harm to the attacker than the one being attacked.
This type of behavior is typical of PTSD. Everything is seen as a personal attack. Definitely not a characteristic desirable in the Oval Office. They are extremely difficult people to deal with.
Hubby has PTSD so I know of what I speak.

Convert, I take offense at that. Just kidding. Really. It just seemed like a good opportunity for humor.

No mudslinging "aside from fact based stuff"? What about 'facts' that are slanted or taken out of context or placed in misleading messages... I'd rather see no negative campaigning. Period.
Okay, so if it is fact based (and not taken out of context or placed in misleading messages or slanted), maybe it should be called something other than mudslinging?
Naming rights to this concept are now open. And, Bountiful will be accepting corporate sponserships of the naming of said concept.
How about rockthrowing at glass houses? Or how about sanitizing the garbage cans?

What is PTSD? Post Tramatic Stress Disorder. Most military vets have it because of situations they encountered. However its also common in non-military people as well due to tramatic experiences.
Learning to live with a PTSD person is difficult especially if they don't receive ongoing counseling to learn how to cope. McCain seems to have a pretty severe case of it and given what he went through, its to be expected. I hope he's getting the ongoing counseling.
