There is actually a law (at least in Wisconsin) that requires gas station owners to sell gas at about a uniform rate of 9.2% above their wholesale cost!
Why?! What is so unfair about someone wanting to sell at a lower price than their competition?

Okay, so what are the excuses this time around for refineries being shut down?
Demand is outpacing supply? Let's quantify that... has anyone anywhere had to spend time in long gas lines? Have any gas stations had to close down due to lack of gas in their tanks?
Come on, do they think we're a bunch of fools?!
