A Catholic Bishop in Italy has to have bodyguards after issuing a statement to Catholic lawmakers reminding them of their moral duty to vote against legislation favorable to homosexuals. That just doesn't seem to me like a tolerant, loving way to promote your position. Neither does saying "we will bury you". We've been told, "By their fruits ye shall know them". Well, what are the fruits of homosexuals? Active demonization of anyone who says anything critical of homosexuality. Campaigning for laws that limit free speech that might be critical of them. At least in certain cases, death threats. Individually, they are beloved children of our Heavenly Father. We hope that they will forsake their sins and come to Christ. But I can find nothing good to say about political groups that try to push their agenda that way. I'm not just against homosexuals who do that. I'm against those who agree with me doing that. I guess it just really gets to me how hypocritical they are. They tell us that we need to be tolerant of their opinions. But they are not in the least tolerant of ours.
