Monday Night Family...

No other activities should involve our family members on Monday night. This designated time is to be with our families.

Often I find myself compromising Family Night and time with Family on Monday nights... Any thoughts on how to keep on target?

What sort of compromises are you talking about? Often we will compromise a formal sit down lesson type family home evening for a family activity or project. Are you going to the bar again Ray?

We actually had/have our FHE lesson on Sundays. This especially helped/help as the kids got older, got jobs, or had a game on Mondays, plus it was easier to have a spiritual lesson when everyone was already in that frame of mind on Sunday. On the off chance that everyone was home on Monday night we did something fun: played games, watched a movie, went minature golfing, read a book as a family.
