Welcome Polly. For the record, I love that movie. I bought a DVD copy for my kids but they think it is boring, at least until they start selling those massive chocolate cakes. I was always dissapointed in the end though. Did the surgury eventually help Polly walk again? Did aunt Polly marry the doctor? So many unanswered questions.
Polly, if you don't mind a tad personal question. In one of my hometeaching families the wife has been just diagnosed with Lupus. She is in her early 20's and has one child. I've offered what assistance I can via a Priesthood blessing and contacts with her husband while she is in the Hospital etc. I've done a little research on Lupus so I have an idea of her symptoms and what she is facing long term but I feel there might be something else I can do for this family that I'm missing. Is there something in particular that your hometeacher does for you and your family that you especially appreciate or feel that is helpful? Thanks.
