Emoticons

It seems that I have been given the power to add emoticons for use in the forum ctr
If you're interested in having an emoticon added to this forum, please send me the file and I'll upload it. You can also create your own. I created the CTR emoticon, for instance.
If you do send me a file, send it of the correct size and appearing exactly as you want it to appear on the forum. I don't have a lot of time to do image manipulation and getting it just right.

We should have a whole host of different eye roll emoticons... one for every mood!

Homestar Runner had some links to some really cool emoticons about the time I left Nauvoo... maybe some of those could be added?

And, we have to have an official Riverdance emoticon!

Well, Shiz will need a emoticon for Vaderdance too, then!

(Ya know, I offered to buy tickets to Riverdance when it came / comes here this month to our neck of the woods, but the Mrs. wasn't interested... me, I still think back to the first time I saw it on PBS and how amazed I was at the energy and talent involved in Americanized Irish step dancing... Of course Micheal Flatley still reminded me of the lead singer in Loverboy, which always made it a kind of -- what is that term to describe use of humor to break the tension? -- moment!)

I think an emoticon raising it's eyebrows in a suggestive manner would be pretty awesome. You know, raising your eyebrows like a wink wink... I got one from my sister on MSN messenger, but I don't know how to upload it here.

I cannot believe that you have pirated the rolleyes emoticon from Nauvoo. I thought that Bountiful was not supposed to be like Nauvoo!?

Aaaar! Here we can use the rolleyes like it is meant to be used!

To any who take offense at the emoticon or use thereof, be advised: Taking offense at the use of the holy rolleyes is punishable by , and from the medium-sized and sufficient meeting room facilities building.

It would be nice to eventually have our own set of eye rolls... You know, it is said the eskimos have numerous words to describe different types of snow... Well, Bountiful can have a rich eyeroll lexicon to describe all the different types of rolling that eyes can do.

Pirate is a strong word. I didn't see a copyright notice(I did look). Also, a strong case could be made that it is not copyrightable since there are so many similar pieces out there that it is easy to confuse them. If it was a distinct work of art then a case could be made that it's copyright by default, and I shouldn't touch it even without a notice. In this case, even if it is copyrighted a case could be made that it has since entered the public domain since so many have copied the work and they have made no effort to defend their copyright.

I like the shoulder shrugging guy over at nauvoo, too. The one hear is hard to see what he's doing without the magnifying glass...

Arbilad it was a joke. Cat goes on about Bountiful not becoming like Nauvoo. Now we have adopted an emoticon that most Bountiful members recognize from Nauvoo. It's a slippery slope, my friend.
