Absurdities may be a good material for rock lyrics, but presented as a life philosophy they are, well, absurd. Nonetheless, in the absence of logic and reason whose use had been abolished by liberal education, this psychobabble has become Holy Scripture of the new “progressive” religion. John’s fame and his unfortunate martyrdom have turned these mind games into unquestionable prophecies. They might as well be called the Gospel of John and Yoko
As Alice Cooper once remarked,
"Anyone who gets their political philosophy from a rock star is a MORON."
And I agree with the author that Paul was more talented.

John Lennon was truly a whack and it tells something about society that his worldview is still so pervasive. The "Hair Peace" jerk. "Bigger than Jesus" indeed.

These people all took too many drugs. Celebrities have so little credibility with me that I have no problem changing the channel when the bloviate even if they are dead! I did go to a Ringo Starr concert once. It was pretty good!
