Anyone know how to grow alpine strawberries? Supposedly if you know what you're doing you can grow them from seed. But I don't know what I'm doing. I understand that they taste much more like a strawberry than a standard strawberry does. In Russian they're even called by a separate word - землянка.

I imagine culture for Alpine Strawberries is a lot like regular ones, if not easier, since Alpines are wild, aren't they? I've never looked to buy them... do you have a source?
Yes cat, you are right. It is the scientific name.

They are supposed to be easier to grow. I'll look up the URL I had and post it later.
