Don't think the gay agenda folk have an axe to grind? Check out this Ballot Initiative that the geniuses in the gay marriage debate are foisting on the public in the state of Washington, because they're sore that the courts in Olympia required the state legislature to address the gay marriage issue, rather than making it a court issue.
This initiative would automatically annul any marriage tween a man and a woman that didn't produce a child within three years of the marriage.
IMO this underlines the blatant animosity they have towards the institution of marriage in general. Were this to pass, this would only render their hopes of "gay marriage" completely beyond their reach (as gays cannot produce offspring). Further I find that most folk who are most sympathetic to their cause are those who've experienced fertility issues, yet this is like a big middle finger to any and all heterosexuals...
Of course it's done "to prove a point" that hetero marriage is NOT all about producing children, but it's really stupid, imo... the type of thinking that demonstrates they are not mature or level-headed folk who can reason their point, nor are they willing to consider children in the debate at all...
Yay for sin!!

Yay for a big fat middle finger to any and all heterosexuals!!
Hey, at least they have finally "come out of the closet" as to their real intent and agenda. It isn't about their being able to marry, and never was. It has and is all about destroying the sanctity of marriage so they can feel good about themselves with their perverse lifestyles.
You know, what puzzles me even more is WHY the court even said the legislature HAD to address the issue. Isn't this almost as much activist judiciary as the court itself instituting law for or against it?
If the legislature does not address it, then it is not even an issue, right? But, the court said "You have to do say something" is forcing everyone to do something about a thing that was not even thought about by the general public until the last couple years. Why do they have to do anything? Can't the legislature or governor tell the judiciary to shut up and to mind their own business of interpreting law instead of playing social engineering?
Hmmmm... I wonder, how many of our judges today are descendants of the priests and judges of wicked King Noah...

It seems to me the only thing you've learned is that Caesar is a "salad dressing dude."
I think their two other initiatives have some merit:
"The measure's backers said the two additional initiatives they plan would prohibit divorce or separation when a married couple has children, and would make having a child together the equivalent of marriage."
I think that parents should not get divourced when there are children involved unless there is some sort of abuse or neglect going on. The whole no fault system has hurt generations of children. Also, if folks sleep together and produce a kid, maybe they should get married. Obviously in the cases of assault I wouldn't take that route but how much do children suffer when people shack up and have kids and then one just picks up and leaves because they were not really in a committed relationship. I think I could support some form of those two with some exceptions within the bill.
If men were to start producing children with more than one woman... we'd have polygamy starting all over again.
