Law Strips Thousands of Their Canadian Citizenship

Definitely a what's up with that for our northern neighbors...

Did you know that unless you are actually in Canada on a specific birthday (and not the day you were born if that is what you're assuming...), you can be stripped of your Canadian citizenship?

What a bunch of hosers the lawmakers who made this must have been...

That is so bizarre. What could have possibly been the reasoning behind such a law?

Sounds like something the French would come up with. For goodness sakes, this is the same country that dumped their union jack flag for a leaf from a maple tree. Oh, and aren't the Canadians basically French anyway? They should all pull their money together and purchase the principality of Sealand which is currently on the market and then they wouldn't have to worry about being without a country.

That's their government in action. How would you feel if you suddenly found out that you were no longer an american citizen?

I was under the impression that although the Capital is in a predominantly French area, at least half of the population of Canada is British.  And they were a British Colony once, weren't they?

This is where becoming a partner in the New Sealand Venture is of such a benefit.  I have formed The New Sealand Group for the sole purpose of purchasing the independent principality of Sealand (http://www.sealandgov.org/).  The New Sealand Group will guarantee each investor with citizenship, a passport, and full rights under the New Sealand Constitution.  The Board of Directors of The New Sealand Group will form a new ruling body known as the House of Lords.  The CEO of the group will act as state executive.  Each board member will recieve a Peerage and be a Duke of one of the various Duchies of Sealand.  The top 50 investors in the project will also be made peers and will recieve voting rights under the newly amended New Sealand Constitution.

Don't be left without a country.  Join the New Sealand Group and become an investor in the New Sealand Venture.

Say what you will about their crazy government, each and every one of the three Canadian woman I have ever known has been smokin' hot, and funny as heck.  And they were all British Columbian conservatives.
