There already are companies that do not purchase mid east oil so I think it is possible to only sell non terrorist fuel.  I would personally spend a few cents more per gallon just for the piece of mind although I realize in the grand scheme of things it is more symbolic than anything else.  I would sleep better tonight knowing that the guys trying to kill Jack Bauer weren't supported by my fuel purchases.

I'd feel even better about it if they could avoid Venezuelan oil as well.  But I'd definitely pay more for gasoline refined from non-middle-east oil.

The second article shows we can be free from the terror of gas smells but what about the noise?  Maybe in addition to the filter they should include a muffler as well?

I avoid Citgo gas and would welcome a choice to buy gas from non-mideast oil.  They have a website which includes a list of companies that do not import mideast oil (there are only three listed, including their own).
