Maybe you folks from Utah and Idaho can shed some light on this for me. Why haven't you guys passed Jessica's Law?
The law establishes a minimum 25-year sentence for anyone convicted of molesting a young child. It also requires that paroled sex offenders wear a GPS positioning unit so police can keep track of them at all times.
Over half the states have either adopted Jessica's law or are in the process of doing so but not Utah and Idaho. In light of both states having a large make up of LDS families with lots of children, I would think this is a no brainer. Please help me understand this?
