President Khamani is going to speak at Harvard on Sept. 10th about tolerance. Glenn Beck today called him, in a mocking manner, a "moderate terrorist". He's called for the destruction of the US and Israel, and helped fund Hezbollah. Should we really be inviting this person to address universities in the US? Mitt Romney has said he will not pay for his protection. I think that's a start, and a good move on Mitt's part.

With such radical Palestinian leaders and radical Israeli leaders, I don't think there will ever be peace in the Middle East. I believe the first step is to support neither one so long as they remain radical. Khamani, Sharon, Saddam, no exceptions ... slap them on the wrist and say "no guns for you until you BEHAVE!" Israel has adopted the 'youngest child spoiled brat that can never do any wrong' syndrome as all the Palestinian 'older brothers' can't wait to beat him up while the parent is away.

It is a sad statement about our society that anyone is supporting this man. He stands for evil and our destruction and they give him the forum in which to speak? On the eve of September 11th no less.
Also, I was very impressed with Mitt Romney's stance on not giving him any attention, or protection from the state. I like Brother Romney.
The irony of inviting a leader of terrorists to your school and... supprize, getting a terrorist attack would not be lost on me. It might even wake a few people up to the reality of what is going on.

He'd never blow himself up. That's for lesser people. He needs to stay alive to lead his people!
You ever notice how the leaders are fine with sending others off to do insane things, but they're much more hesitant about putting their own persons in danger?

It is a shame no one ever taught such leaders to lead by example. Either they would have an unsustainably high turnover rate for their leaders, or they would stop directing their followers to do such attacks.
Yes, I know the former Iranian President wouldn't do that. Honestly I wouldn't want it to happen, especially on U.S. soil.
The ironic thing about this is that if anything were to happen to this despot and gadiantan while in our country or on the way to or from, that would be viewed as just provocation by the wacko's in Tehran and in the fundamental Islamic world to let loose on the US, the West, and anything that we have interest in.
But, he is not a guest of the country, and I'm surprised that he will be given entry. And since he is not a guest and certainly not a citizen, what makes people think he should be suffered to have freedom of speech while here? Probably one of those silly diplomatic immunity things since he is a former head of state and probably some sort of ambassador function thingee to the UN.
