My name's Will, I'm 27, from Orange County, CA. I like to broaden myself on all topics, yet I specialize in scriptures, math, sociology, philosophy, politics, and I'm a classical music addict. Since I was a child, I've always kept my mind concerned with the future and the "big picture" (or eternal perspective), and thus have also had a fascination with the book of Revelations and the Second Coming. I've come to realize this is not a coincidence, and it has greatly aided my understanding of both Revelations and Isaiah.
My political leanings are neither Rep or Dem, but Constitution ... therefore I despise the Federal Reserve and their many organizations. I'm a huge opponent to Communism and therefore Socialism (Socialism is Communism with a happy face). There are many books I would recommend, but first and foremost I would recommend 'The Naked Communist' by Cleon Skousen ... because it was recommended TWICE in General Conference. Oct 1959 by David O McKay and Oct 1961 by Ezra Taft Benson. It shows how the international bankers created and support Communistic regimes.
I chose D&C 38:29 as a signature scripture because it seems so fitting for this forum.

Welcome! I love classical music as well. I listen to it almost to the exclusion of all other forms of music. I do listen to some jazz and Enya, but those are exceptions to the rule.

My favorites in my 200 CD collection tend to be the Romantic era, usually German and Russian composers. Symphonies and Piano Concertos comprise almost all my collection. :)
I've come to notice an extraordinary influence for good and evil in music ... and what I've discovered thusfar is that Hymns, Classical, and Jazz seem to be the ONLY safe bets when it comes to creating a pure atmosphere.
Obviously not all Pop and Rock & Roll is bad (in terms of aura influence, not just lyrics), but it becomes rather difficult to find any that's NOT. Upon both pondering and much study, I have come to realize that both Rock and Rap were founded by adversarial influences with multiple specific intents (and these two have heavily influenced Pop), including even mind control in various degrees (for proof of this, consider the mosh pit).
FYI- I grew up on punkrock, more specifically Bad Religion type punk ... so I'm no stranger to these things :)

I have a preference towards baroque myself... and you know what they say... If it's not baroque, don't fix it... ah ha ha! Ha ha! Ha ha! ah... hem... Yes.
Welcome Line!

Random question for Cat: What % of baroque is not one of these three composers (Bach, Vivaldi, and Handel)? (To be honest I don't know any)
Ray: I submit to you proof that Pokemon can be used as a tool of the adversary

Are you kidding!? There's nothing better than carrying your kids around in your backpack, and shooting them out whenever you need them to perform some basic function for you... Of course... under the current system you can only hold six poke'balls at a time, so that would limit you to six children... which would be evil... perhaps you're right... perhaps there's some truth to your madness.

Corelli, Albinoni, Telemann...I've played stuff by each, and they're competent if not as great as the big 3. As for %, I don't know how much they've all written, but I would guess if you include other minor composers, the big 3 cover...60%? Just a wild guess there.
I like Baroque...and Classical...and Romantic...okay, so I'm a smorgasboard listener.

But ray...that picture clearly shows 2 children in one ball. So you'd only be limited to 12 children, which can't be all bad...

Thanks Euphie... I really have little clue about the details of classical music composers... I know Haendel and Vivaldi were in the Baroque style, but forgot Bach was. But, I do love Baroque music and Baroque architecture and that silly little joke from Beauty and The Beast...

Yeah, I was thinking due to the sheer volume of works by Bach, those three seem to comprise about 60-80% of the entire Baroque era (to my guesstimate).
