Funeral of gay man moved, family and friends outraged


I think that the dam is starting to burst. Family and friends of a homosexual man in Greeley, CO are upset because a local church wouldn't allow the funeral there unless the pastor of that church gave the message. The family and friends wanted the pastor of their church, one that caters to gay people, to give the message.
I think that the pastor of the church where they wanted to hold the ceremony is perfectly within his rights to require that he be the one to present the message. The family and friends, though, are trying to paint this as a discrimination issue.

Let me see if I understand this. If someone is a member of a protected group, then those around him or her must do what the someone wants, or the someone has a discrimination case against them?

It's a good thing that this country was founded by reasonable people, who could overlook real insults and injuries, or we never would have became successful colonies, much less a country.
