A friend told me that her teenager was stopped at a red light when he looked up to see a big semi truck headed right toward him. He froze, but the next thing he knew, he and his car were turned far to the left and the truck missed them.
A young man I worked with briefly some years ago told me of swimming some distance from his pals and being trapped in a grate in an irrigation ditch, and of feeling himself lifted out and finding himself laying on the ground beside the ditch.
We talk about these things more among LDS Church members, but such experiences are not limited to LDSs.
