Click on the link. Basically, the entire midwest has a higher than average suicide rate. Utah has a slightly lower rate than other midwest states. So, it could be argued that some factor about the midwest makes people commit suicide more often, but that the religiousity of the LDS in Utah mitigates that factor somewhat.
