Jesse Jackson talks smack about Obama

Jesse Jackson was caught making a derogatory statement about Obama. He said that Obama was talking down to black people and that he wanted to cut Obama's nuts off.
Now he's apologized (sort of). What is it about liberals and apologies? They do something, apologize, then turn around and do the same sort of thing again.
Personally I think that Fox probably purposely didn't turn off Jesse Jackson's microphone. But that really doesn't bear on the issue much.
I think that Jesse Jackson is upset because of Obama's comment about black men who father babies but don't participate in their life at all. That probably hits home for Jesse Jackson because that describes him. The wicked take the truth to be hard.

There are plenty of legitimate things to hold against Jesse Jackson, so why lower ourselves to using "gotcha moment"? Gotcha moments are repugnant and don't deserve much more than a passing glance.

And the point is, I think, is not crucifying him over a soundbite, but that the sentiments he expressed are perfectly in line with what we already know of his character, and the soundbite is an easy example to use to demonstrate his character.
