I'm glad that the nanny was able to save the baby in this case. The news story could have had a much worse ending.

I have to ask, why was this child alone in a place where coyotes can get to children? Too young to be outside all alone, especially in those circumstances. I'm glad it turned out well.

This child wasn't outside all alone, the child's nanny was there. This child was at a park, playing in the sand box. But maybe the nanny should have been closer to the child since the child is only 2 years old. Then perhaps the coyote would not have felt so bold as to snatch up the child.
However, it doesn't mention whether the 3 yr old playing in the cul-de-sac was outside alone or not.

Good grief. I can't imagine. I'd be so pissed off at that coyote I'd feel like ramming my hand down its throat and ripping its guts out.

wow, are those coyotes desperate or what? I mean I realize a small child might look like some kind of food, but really...this is just odd.
I guess this is what we get when we move into the animals neighborhoods...

I know! They're really losing their fear of humans.
