In the midst of much of my turbulence of soul and frustration, I had something spiritually reasuring, strengthening happen and this passage of scripture came to mind. I have always loved this, "be still and know that I am God." Have to trust Him, there is little we can change, He is in charge of all.
D&C 101 16 Therefore, let your hearts be comforted concerning Zion; for all flesh is in mine ahands; be still and bknow that I am God.
Psalms 46 10 Be astill, and bknow that I am God: I will be cexalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

I absolutely LOVE these scriptures, too! The one that comes to my mind most often but with the same basic message is from Moses and the exodus from Egypt. They are at the borders of the Red Sea. The Egyptians are upon them and there is no escape. They are wishing they never had left. Wishing they were dead. Completely without hope.
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. (forgot the reference- Ex. 14:13)
Then, of course, the unthinkable happened. Something that had never before even entered their minds as an option. Love this story and the message of these scriptures generally.
