The Holy Ghost

There's a lot about the Holy Ghost that interests me and I don't think I understand.

Does the Holy Ghost experience a fulness of joy?

But I thought a resurrected body was needed for that.

That's in store for the Holy Ghost too. Don't have a reference at the moment.

So He *will* receive a fulness of joy... sometime in the future? But not yet, although He's a member of the Godhead.

So, Jesus didn't have a fulness of joy until after His resurrection either.  Sounds to me that the HG has a mission to fulfill and once he's completed His mission, then He'll have that fulness.

How exactly does he put thoughts in your head. I mean, they're going like RIGHT IN YOUR HEAD! eyepopping.gif

And He can do this to like a billion people all at the same time? Wow. Or wait. He can dwell *IN* you, right? I mean, He's not even "next to" you, but actually INSIDE your brain. Whoa...! But how does He do that simultaneously, say to everyone watching Gen. Conference? He IS a Spirit body, right?

Hey, coco.  I thought of this thread yesterday.  One of the speakers spoke about the Holy Ghost and said that since He is a personage of spirit, that enables Him to be everywhere at once and he said something else profound.  I remember thinking that it's one of those mysteries, but since He has no physical body at this time, that allowed him to dwell with us.

Being a personage of spirit doesn't allow you to be everywhere at once. It allows Him to dwell within us. One can feel the influence of God whereever we are, in the same sense as one can feel the sun, radiating...

Do you remember which speaker/session it was? I have it recorded, and I will settle this dispute right now! biggrin.gif

But yeah, it would follow that once we are spirits (temporarily anyway once we're dead, for example) we'd be able to be everywhere at once. Of course, that doesn't make sense unless you've read the book Flatland. confuse.gif

Umm, no I don't remember.  Hence my words "....and he said something else profound."

When they come out online, I'll look it up for you.
