I try to fathom the scope of eternity; all time stretching beyond visibility into brightness that burns the eyes and doesn't reveal tomorrow.
Today you are gone. And today I hurt. And today I have regrets.
I cannot find you in eternity from my place in today.
I try to squint into the brightness for a peek, and come away with stinging tears.
So I live in today, squint sometimes, and accept forever on faith.

Hiccups, your words are very poignant. I think that desire as you have shown and the faith that there is faith to have is the first step. I do like your imagery of brightness. That is so fitting for a glimpse into eternity.
