Ron Paul easily beat his opponent in the Republican primary for his congressional seat. So, while it's unlikely that he'll become president, he'll retain his seat in Congress. He has no democratic challenger for his seat, and it would beggar disbelief to have a third party candidate run against him.
So, at least there will be one voice of reason in Congress.
