Now that he has a 0% chance of getting the nomination because McCain already has it, instead of a 0.01% chance just a few days ago.
Actually, I don't think that they're quite zero, although they're so close to zero as to make no difference. For instance, he could be a successful write in candidate. Or McCain could die from old age on the campaign trail and all his delegates decide to go with Huckaloser. So it's still technically possible. But I'd be less surprised if they announced a genetically modified pig that can fly.

Yeah, I want to know who he's picking for VP before I could get warm fuzzies.

(See, I'm giving him a bit longer to live than Arbi.)

He's only 71. I doubt he's going to drop dead any time soon. He knows his health will be picked apart by the opposing candidate. If there were any medical evidence he wasn't fit for the job, I doubt he'd be running.
I remember people saying that about Reagan. And see? He was like... the BEST!
Hmm, maybe McCain should have been dying his hair and overapplying blush...

All probably true. But any mortal can die. So the possibility is always there. I don't consider it likely, but it could happen. Even someone very physical fit, like an athlete, can fall over dead for no apparent reason.
