Wonder how this would have been handled had it been a temple marriage? How would you handle it if it was you?
Marriage Annulled After Separated Twins Marry Friday, January 11, 2008
Twins separated at birth have married each other without realizing they were brother and sister, it has been revealed.
The British couple's marriage has now been annulled by the High Court after judges ruled the marriage had never validly existed.
The identities of the brother and sister and details of how they fell in love and married are being kept secret. Soon after they were born they were separated and adopted by different families.
Neither was told they had a twin and had no idea they were blood relatives until after their wedding.
Professor Lord Alton uncovered the case when a High Court judge told him of a hearing he had dealt with.
Lo, there I see my mother, my sisters, my brothers Lo, there I see the line of my people back to the beginning Lo, they call to me, they bid me take my place among them In the halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live...forever
Yeah that would be sad to find a person you had so much in common with, and then realize that you're actually physically related to them... then again, Adam and Eve's children probably had to do this sort of thing.

I have no idea what I'd do. I freaked out when, a month or two after we'd married, I heard my mother-in-law talking about a relative of theirs who had the same name as my great-grandfather. After we talked it through and figured out that it was a different guy, I relaxed.

I'm curious to know how they found out they were brother and sister. Of course, if I linked the article it might tell me, but it isn't one of those click and link links.
It is a very short article and it does not say how it was discovered.
Yeah, how do you get over that you were in love with someone, enough to get married, I would assume intimacy as well, and then discover you are siblings? Do you suddenly unlove them? End a relationship that up to that point was legitimate?
What if they had been sealed?
I guess to me the "icky" factor is not as bad as it was unknown in the situation, but still...

Maybe they decided something was amiss when after kissing, they both suddenly repeated that classic line from "Back To The Future" -- 'This is all wrong. I don't know what it is but when I kiss you, it's like kissing my brother.'/sister...

If they'd had been sealed, methinks they would've left it. There were instances of uncles/nieces and stepdad/daughters being married just in BY's day. He frankly thought like ray does and said you can marry pretty much whomever, cuz that's what Adam and Eve's kids did, Abraham, etc.
