Some Parents, I swear!

I saw this ad in the classifieds today... unbelievable.

http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=2453279&cat=272&lpid=

It's not that long to read... but it got me so ticked off I sent the jerk an email.  With two curse words.

wow- since he says to "go ahead and report him" it seems like maybe he is posting it just for shock value? Almost makes me wonder if the 4 yo daughter even exists.

Coco posted a link without summarizing it!?! You know, you're not the only one who never clicks links . . . Take pity on a fellow non-clicker and just say what it is.

Seriously? The ad's removed already? HA! He must've got tons of hate mail. I'll do better than that, Janey... here it is (or was - I left a window up to show MrCoco when he gets home from work so we can fume together. biggrin.gif)

Field Fence Panels Urgently Needed
South Weber, UT 84405 - Jan 8, 2008
Looking for a few field fence panels, the 16' x 54" kind. Need one of the 3-way (to keep out chickens, goats and large stock) and one of the light gage (only keeps out goats and larger stock). If you have any you are willing to sell or need to get rid off, give me a call. Will also take partial panels, as long as I can fence 32'. Thing is, my billy goat keeps attacking my four-year-old. In the month I have run this ad in the WANTED section (with zero success), he has actually managed to break her leg. So that it is not her neck next time, I am using less conventional methods. So, feel free to report my ad. It's a little girl's life and limbs you are jeopardizing.

So, yeah. I sent an email that basically said, When yer **** goat blinds your daughter, you'll wish you'd have gotten rid of the thing, *******.

Here's the response I just now got:
I soundly reject the idea of disposable animals. Once you own one, you are responsible for it FOR THE REST OF IT'S LIFE, not just until it becomes inconvenient. I have owned that goat for quite a bit longer than the child and it would be roundly irresponsible to 'dispose' of him now. There are enough people out there doing that already. The thought disgusts me.

HELLO!!! Is this ******* for real? I have her (his?) name now, from her email and I'm seriously thinking of looking her up and taking my utility trailer down there in the middle of the night and taking the **** goat away FOR HER.

Will you defend me, Janey, if I get caught goat-stealing? It's for the girl, for the love of Pete!

Okay, I think the problem is the little equals sign is not contained in the blue clicky part.  See it?  At the end?

So. . . keep the 4-year-old away from the goat? Genius.

He thinks of an animal that is endangering his child's life as an inconvenience? Hmmm.

Well, Coco, I think you're to blame for the child's broken leg, cuz you didn't give that man what he wanted in his want-ads!

He ought to just go to Home Depot and buy the fence. If he's even for real.

Thanks for posting the text, coco!

We had a neighbor... He had this REALLY irritating dog that always got out of his "pen". This neighbor would apologize every time the dog got out, saying to anyone that would listen... that he couldn't afford "good" fencing, or a real dog kennel...

A different neighbor finally got tired of the the excuses and irritation and gave the dog owner his older fencing when he got a new fence a couple years down the road. This generous neighbor even arranged a neighborhood service project to install the fence. 3 weeks later the dog owner got rid of the dog...

He didn't like him scratching up his new fencing... TRUE story...

I don't happen to have the kind of heavy-gauge fence panels this nitwit is asking for lying around ready to give away. My fencing for most of my horse field is not as good as this guy wants.

Again, I'm thinking we'll go on a goat run... Yah with me, bok?? Sistah??
