Cool, and maybe the NBC and CBS both is overkill, but overall I say no. Go Pats, make history, and stick it to those old fins who've been celebrating each year once everybody has lost.

I'm looking forward to sleeping in and then hoping I can stay awake at Church in the afternoon.
I don't think we have to worry about the pigskin flu. Perhaps someday, professional football can come to AZ.

I think Mahonri means that their church started at 9 this year but starts at 1 next year...
Next year we go from starting at 1 to starting at 9, and I am beyond joyous! The later in the day the harder tolerating those benches becomes for me... I dislike afternoon church.
There is a difference between getting a joke and thinking it is funny... Big difference...
I'm sure there are many Ward and Stake leaders who would love to get down to a mere four hours of meetings on Sundays...
We also move from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is never a fun thing for kids to have afternoon church, and that includes the little ones. What I can't fathom is why, oh why, do we have to have an hour break between the two, count them two, wards that meet in our building. Like 9:30 - 12:30 for the morning (when we have the morning time) and 12:30 - 3:30 for the afternoon (again when we have the afternoon time) would be far more palatable...
Yeah, I know, whine whine whine... It's that psychological thing of not being too early or too late... still doesn't mean we would get there on time...

We have two wards in our reg. building, too and they are 9 and 1. Our reg. bldg. is getting a makeover so we are at the Stake Center with 4 wards. We need an hour with our usual bldg. because it's too small to overlap anything. GD and HPs meet in the chapel... every room is always full.

We actually only have the one ward in our building, but with the influx of our Hispanic brothers and sisters (INCLUDING THE FAMILY WHO PULLED UP AFTER CHURCH TO FIND OUT WHEN THE SPANISH SESSION WAS! Woo hoo), we will soon be faced with some choices about whether to continue the growth as one or separate into two units and the possibility of alternating time slots.
Currently, all of those who speak Spanish are given headsets and translation services are provided for every single meeting. All business and the sacrament are bilingual depending upon who is conducting.
Fast & Testimony meeting is an AWESOME fluid spiritual feast!
yeah, I think that's where we will be heading in short order. there are wards here who are simply NOT equipped to meet the needs of the Hispanic members so they are actively being sent to our ward.
