Protestors supporting our troops...

I sure am glad these folks claim they support our troops... makes me so glad to live in Washington. :) This is no doubt an Olympian Veteran's Day celebration...

I was going to say something, but decided not to.

When you allow one group to blatantly violate the law, you make it easier for other groups to do so.

So far the arrests for vandalism are yet to materialize... much of this is due to the City Council many of whom agree with the protesters.

I'll have to ask the missionaries in our ward if they heard anything from home about it. I think they're from around that area. We have a sizable deaf population in the ward (from the whole geographical area, not just our ward boundaries). These two missionaries both went to High School together and took American Sign Language, so they're missionaries to the deaf as well.

It sounds like to me that whomever is behind this is really trying to get a confrontation with the Federal government to make the Bush Administration look bad. It may end up turning into a modern day Kent State...

They know that the local government is not going to do a thing about it, and the state government is pretty lame too, so the call for ending the uncivil "civil disobedience" is going to come from higher up and enforced that way and "innocent" civilians will end up getting hurt or killed worst case scenario, viewed as persecuted for being hauled away to jail for acts of vandalism and disrupting the peace during war time that could be viewed as a form of terrorism.

You know, there is going to come a day when all the elitist-environmentalist-anarchist crapola that goes on in Washington, Oregon, and California and is to an ever increasing amount supported behind the scenes by elected officials is gonna come back and bite them all soundly in the butt.

There are a lot of anarchists and enemy combatants that find refuge in the well-meaning open arms of the stereotype-phobic left of this country. One of the enjoyable facts of getting to listen to local talk radio, is that there are folks who regularly interview the communists, anarchists and so forth.

One guy shared a story on the air, about as a reporter, he was thrown out of the Anarchist's press conference for not obeying their rules...

Seattle is where the sick insane people come to shriek, and complain and eventually die by coffee...
