Poem: Criticism

Criticism
(by RayB)

The vulgarity of neutrality -- the profundity of absurdity.

A neutral face cries a thousand stories
All crafted by parched innuendo
A poor caricature of the character
Of a soul's glimmer divine--

Reflecting solely the image of she
Who crafted that daft innuendo
And he who dared be lured
Into her velvety tangle.

God forbid, the moment while
The neutral face doth wear a smile!
A thousand stories spun in glee
But naught a single destiny.

The vulgarity of absurdity -- the profundity of neutrality.

Smile! This is a very playful poem. I prefer a straight face to a sour face. And if someone smiles all the time, it is not a sweet reward as when you say something to make them smile.

Interesting interpretation, Zeal. :)

I wrote it from a completely different perspective... but I like how you read it.
