Okay here's a link to the latest piece of art we're to discuss and make up a project for... what do you think of it?

I've decided as a person I kinda don't like this guy, since he abandoned his wife and five kids to pursue his art life. I'm sure I'll mention that to the fifthgraders... and then again state (as I did with Gorky) "While his art is admirable, his personal life was not. No one should take this guy as a rolemodel and is certainly no one you should emulate."

Thoughts?

Coco: Yeah, I thought it was interesting how this was one of the few island paintings without some nude blob on it... Another reason why Gaughin annoys me...
