And my autistic son's teacher was all concerned when he was going through puberty! He has the mind of a two year old in a teenager's body, but couldn't understand the raging hormones he was experiencing.

How do these guys get away with advocating this sort of thing. What a wack job. It may be a few years away but someone will eventually say the same thing in our country.

I'm a little confused by this article.  Little children should be able to  any time except for eating or sitting.  What if they have a food fetish?  Aren't they denying these kids a free reign on expressing themselves?  And what if a child really wants to explore another child but that child doesn't want it?  I mean, they say that they won't force another child to do anything, but if child #1 really, really wants to explore child #2 and can't, then child #1 is being repressed and that'll mess him up.  And what about child predators?  They shouldn't limit these games/exploration to just children.  With the increase in child care providers that this new standard will provide, these individuals should not be repressed from expressing themselves with children either.

(just in case anyone is mistaken--this is complete sarcasm--and I posted after wiping my eyes from the horror and disgust this article evoked).

 People already say those sorts of things in our country, it's just that no one has yet allowed them to set that as a policy in preschools. I remember, I think it was 10 years ago even, watching a news story on NAMBLA, the North American Man Boy Love Association. They were interviewing a lesbian who was an apologist for the group. She said that kids learn to talk at different ages, potty train at different ages, and become sexually active at different ages. I was and am in total shock that anyone could equate such natural life stages as learning to speak and potty training with something so atrocious as sex between a child and an adult.
