"The promptings of the Holy Ghost will always be sufficient for our needs if we keep to the covenant path. Our path is uphill most days, but the help we receive for the climb is literally divine." --Elaine S. Dalton
I'm so sorry to hear about this news. Having lost my own mother almost 13 years ago, it is hard thing to have to go through. My thoughts and prayers are with their family.
The Lord heals all wounds, but that doesn't mean the healing process is easy or fun. While all life ends in death, that doesn't make it any easier to accept when it does come. But with time, we can be with our loved ones again.

BTW, Hiccups, posting links to threads over there is ok, as long as you don't do it for the purposes of mocking or otherwise making light of. I really appreciate you posting this link, because with everything I had going on today, I only barely had enough time for the forum I'm in charge of. I didn't make it over to Nauvoo today.

Bok, Coco, and Dilbert, my deepest condolences and empathy for your loss.
No matter how well prepared one is, no matter how well one understands and believes the Gospel, it does not remove the pain and grief when one loses a close loved one. That is simply part of the mortal experience. Doesn't matter if it is a sudden or anticipated seperation.
There will never be a day that you will not think of her, but do believe me that with The Lord's strength, it will become less and less painful (as in missing her) to the point your memory of her and anticipation of reunion will become sweet indeed.
My thoughts are with you.

We love you Bok and Dilbert! Death is not the end, but only a passageway to a much better place. May you receive the gentle comfort of the quietest voice.
