Climbing a ladder to the inviting and peaceful opening of someone's long-ago home;
Being completely encompassed by an ancient stone cavity;
Listening to the comforting sounds of a steady, gentle rain;
Absorbing the vista of deeply saturated shades of green blanketing the meadow;
Soothing the achingly dry desert within my soul,
And becoming closer to God.
