Scriptures that Break Chains...

As per my thread in the Super Secret Vaul, about addiction and the breaking of darker depressions... I'd like to ask folks to share their personal favorite scriptures? The ones that give you the most strength...

What are the most powerful and uplifting scriptural references for you? What are scriptures that have changed your life, or helped you to connect with others? What are scriptures that show that God and Christ understands us, and loves us, despite the darkness in addictions and the shame of compulsions?

What are those that gladden the mind and strengthen you?

There are always more, of course.  Those are just a few off the top of my head.

I like Moroni 7. Alma 32. Proverbs 3:5-6. 1 Nephi 11.

Ray, I do wonder where you're going with this though...

Isaiah 40:28-31 has always been one of my most favorite uplifting scriptures.
