How much did YOU pay for your Harry Potter book?

I went to work this evening ( I work in a retail pharmacy) and we had the new Harry Potter book on "sale" for $34.99. Of course, that was the hard bound cover. I'm assuming the paper back isn't out yet. Considering I am still on book 5 there is no point in me buying the new one yet.

For the die hard HP fans on this forum, maybe I should ask,"How much would you be WILLING to pay for the new book?" Just curious.smile.gif

Mine was $17.87 (if I remember right) at Walmart.

What Poncho really means is how much should we expect to pay for a used paperback in a year...

I haven't read the books yet. My younger brother is going to find them for me (they have all of them) so I can borrow them for free!

I did see the Wal-Mart version for just under 18$, I think the same price Hiccups quoted. And at our Giant grocery story, they are about 25$. Probably the luckiest are those who work in bookstores, they probably get a good discount on books.

$17.99 Amazon and $20.99 B&N.

The paperbacks run under $10 if I recall correct.

We got four copies ranging from 17-22 bucks... One went home with Grandma... One my daughter purchased with her own moolah... (which is pretty cool that she'd go out of her way to get her own book and read, considering she's not an avid reader of anything).
