I browsed this article and two thoughts came to me when I read this part

Charles cut his annual carbon emissions by 9 percent, to 3,775 tons, between April 1, 2006 and March 31 of this year.
1.  So, he has reduced his breathing and respiration rate by 9 percent?  He must have tremendous lung capacity to reduce the amount of respiration of carbon from his body by 3,775 tons!

2.  Has he also cut his annual methane emissions?  Wouldn't that be even more desireable?  wink
