If Hogwarts was a real school I'd want to go there!! I thought there was already a surplus of amusement parks in this country. I know sixflags is looking at selling or closing some of their parks. The hard part about about this is that Fad theme parks seldom last more than a few years. Remember the Sid and Marty Croft Theme Park?
Disney was trying to get the rights for the theme park but they lost it in the end. Some think it is good they didn't get it. Part of the rumored reason for Disney not getting it is Rowling was too demanding about features.
Hogwarts seems kinda dangerous but the death toll is not too awfully high. So, yes, I'd let my kids go.
Not after seeing the last Harry Potter movie, where I learned that one of the extracirricular activities is to fasten your friends underwater and then see if you can rescue them faster than your competitors can rescue their friends.
