the mystery in the Church parking lot

I couldn't determine where to post this. I thought about the other place. However, as I recenly shared a link to a thread over there w/some people in my real life ward, I didn't want to post this over there, since it is a current situation. Maybe you will think this is dumb, but it might be a fun way to create a story!

So help me fill in the blanks to this mystery situation, sort of a "create a story" thing. I started w/some background info.:

One day the young woman drove by the church and saw a bunch of cars in the Church parking lot. She smiled, for she knew the church would be open 15 minutes later when she returned to retrieve the items she had forgotten in the primary room on that very day.

But Alas, 15 minutes later, no cars were there!! Everyone had left. Except a dark color car and a light color car. The dark car was near the light car. Then the dark car left the lot. So the young woman drove to the light car, to see if its owner could let her into the building.

But no one was in the light car! OK, so maybe the owner went to a fireside.

That week, everytime she drove by the building, there sat the light color car. Saturday night the young woman looked inside the car and jotted the license plate number.  So the young woman told someone in the bishopric, yet they already knew: the car had actually been there one month!!

So what happened to the owner of the car? Had he/she been kidnapped or injured or yikes, killed?  These were the questions on the mind of the young woman who used to watch too much Without a Trace and CSI. So why did they leave their car in the parking lot of the Church?

Help complete the story---

The mystery deepened as 9 people of the town called Bountiful "viewed" the initial post. But as each of them knew hidden details pertaining to this mystery, not one of them felt they could reveal their identity- and inside knowledge about what had happened. For each of them had been there that day when the car was left in the parking lot in the Church at Bountiful.

And not only had they been there, each of them held a key piece of knowledge that when combined with the knowledge of the others, could help explain what had happened to the owner of the car.

Okay...

The solution to this case is that the young woman was blonde and it was one of the family's cars and she had driven it. She had gotten a ride home with her friends from church and forgot she had driven, and in the ensuing day and weeks forgot all about the car belonging to the family, because her parents were on a month + long cruise, having left directly from church in a airport taxi that they had previously arranged to pick them up. And, they had also advised the Bishop they would be leaving the car at the church and warned the Bishop, RS President, and yea verily in fact the whole ward council that their daughter was a ditz, which of course they already knew because, afterall she was blonde.

Well, we know that Mahonri drove the Lexus, so that people would take him seriously as a dentist. :)

Sure there is a difference! It is which former WWII enemy's economy you are now supporting by buying a vehicle designed and built by the industrial might we helped to rebuild. wink.gif
