Here comes the Cavalry! This is such a weird political race... already... I sure hope you're all getting out extra Book of Mormons... for your friends and neighbors! :)

Cavalry? Maybe a small local town posse, but certainly not a John Wayne version of a cavalry charge...
Sharpton said if Mormons did not in the past see blacks as equal, they're not "real worshippers of God because I do not believe God distinguishes between people. That is not bigotry. That's responding to their beliefs." It was Hitchens who "attacked the Mormons," not him, Sharpton said. "I'm the one that belongs to a race that couldn't join the Mormons and I'm the one that's the bigot," he said, calling on Romney to explain his views on his church's position on blacks. This is absolutely telling of the bigotry and lack of intelligence Sharpton has on what he is supposedly lambasting... He could have joined the church. No one was precluded from joining the church. It was simply holding the priesthood and enjoying the temple blessings that were excluded until the revelation was given to extend them to all worthy people, regardless of race.
Funny how no one else included that little bit about how nasty his comments really got.
