Bad, bad misrepresentation in title of article

Kansas Governor: Iraq War Slowed Response to Tornado

At first reading this title, I thought it was in the same light of blaming everything as the cause of global warming, and that the media are now actively looking to blame every bad thing at home on the war in Iraq.

Don't get me wrong, I completely understand how logistics has been impacted in this case, but come on, am I the only one who sees the article title as being a tad bit sensationalist?  Kind of in the same lines as the one Governor of Louisiana blaming her administrations failure to get things going prior to Katrina on FEMA and the Bush administration?  confused

yeah, I heard Bush ordered the tornado to touch down in Kansas, just like he ordered Katrina to be a hurricane!!! Sheesh, people are so gullible.

No, no, no, that's Karl Rove's thing. He's the one with the weather machine.

Turns out it is not the media putting slant or sensationalism on the story. Saw on the news last night this governor actually lambasting the President because of the disaster. Turns out this particular Governor is not only female, but a Democrat... so, no wonder it sounds so much like passing on the blame as it all being Pres. Bush's fault... the tactic has precedent in Katrina a couple years ago (a female, Democrat Governor in Louisiana), and my state's governor is doing it all the time (again, Michigan's Governor is a female and Democrat) who blames him for our state's poor economy (funny how the economy was going pretty good under the Republican governor that preceded you and whom you beat in election nearly 6 years ago and since then under your leadership has gone from turning stagnant to taking a nose dive by losing lots of jobs and corporate headquarters in your tenure). Makes one wonder if they all went to charm school with Billary...

Reminds me of "The Crucible".  "I saw the spectre of Karl Rove tormenting me!!!!!!"
