Sleeping on the job?

Do you get enough sleep?

I slept at church sunday. Does that count? I was fighting a cold at the time. Took little cat naps during each meeting.

I've been known to doze off and have unintentional cat naps at work... sometimes on a daily basis. And no, I do not get enough sleep at night. But then again, I don't get enough physical activity either...

Yes... but only when there has been a last minute cancellation.

Patients hate it when my drill slips off of a tooth when I'm dozing. :0)

Hardly a day goes by that at least 1 or 2 people do not fall asleep at a computer or a microfilm reader or over a book in the Family History Library in SLC.

Perhaps it's not that we aren't getting enough sleep... perhaps it's that computers are boring.

Well, in my case, it usually is a combination of sedentary day in front of computer, not enough sleep at night (I really need 8 or 9 hours of uninterrupted sleep two or three times a week, and usually I only get about 5 --or 6 at most a night-- interruptions included), boredom at work (e.g. not enough to keep me mentally engaged), and some other things...

I have had a couple nice cat naps today. Just glad I didn't wake myself up snoring when I found out I had slid down in my chair while looking at spreadsheets and started dreaming of things not even related to what I was doing just a minute or two earlier. wink.gif
